Alive and well, living only in theory!

Lately I have been very busy with work and other things. Because I haven't had much time to write anything, here's a picture of me drilling magazines. Oh yes!

WWJLD

Fine Bookbinding by Jen Lindsay

Slowly getting back to the books. I know I haven't been much of a blogger or even a binder lately, but I'm still alive. During the last two months I have been mostly just organising things (also dismantling some, it seems) and now that everything's organised, I'm ready to start working on something. I have a reason to believe that this autumn and winter will both provide more than enough time for just about every project I have been intending to do. I kind of like the idea. We'll see what comes out of this all.

Rain

The apple trees are blooming in the cold rain, I sit inside sewing book blocks and drinking tea. When is this murky weather going to pass? Don't get me wrong, I like rain and cloudy days, but I like my gloomth in small doses.. a week is too much. In order to fully enjoy this bleak house I might just have to read Wuthering Heights again. Some pixel people came too

Haven't been updating lately because I have nothing new scanned - also, I've been meeting people and actually drawing stuff. Here's a progress picture from some night two weeks ago. Random sketching and two cards for iATCs "Choose a theme" swap, my theme was supposed to be cogs & engines but I ended up making steam trains.

Meanwhile, other people made:
- Ink & tea portraits of Oscar Wilde (a series)
- Some decobooks
- Comparative portraits of Jarkko Martikainen, whose picture they found from a ladies' magazine.
